The house was beautiful, gothic turn of the century features with a tower and ornate balconies with stone balustrades. The Curtis family stood and admired their new family home. Parents Mark and Diane with their children Garrett, Simon and Connie. They couldn't believe just how beautiful it was. Even though the history the house was steeped in was macabre in nature it still radiated beauty.
When signing the title deeds both Mr and Mrs Curtis were handed a folder of documents and newspaper clippings detailing the history of the previous owners. The following was essentially the contents of that folder.
The Valerian Family had built it in the summer of 1908 and lived in it for many years and raised their family. The time had been a pleasant one until the untimely deaths of their young twin sons Vincent and Daniel. The grief of this loss led Mrs Claudia Valerian to open her arteries and bleed out her life in the en suite bathroom of the master bedroom on the 3rd floor. After the memorial service both Mr Valerian and his last surviving child sold the house on 3312 Willowview and settled in the warmer climate of Los Angeles, California. They both lived out normal and happy although lonely lives there.
Ripping up the "SOLD" sign on the front lawn, Mark Curtis chuckled to himself. "Haunted? well I'll be damned!"
