My readers, I have had yet another of my starterling adventures into the future and my time machine is currently resting on my deskside as I ponder this new machine called a computer. As some of you know I live in oxford England and being from 1899 have never worked on one, so please bear with me, as the saying goes. So I have traveled into the future once again into the year 6677 where humanity has spread out over the stars, and has mingled with dozens of different planets and aliens. This story finds me appearing aboard a Amanda Class freighter bound for the planet Rhonda, I was as always shocked when I arrived and the people on board took me into custody. I stood out quite alot with my victorian outfit in the corridors of a modern space ship, and they took my pocket watch time machine. As I sat in the small holding area the ships Captain Walked into the room, "Okay now what happened?"
"Pray tell me whatever do you mean Sir? I have arrived here and am a time travaler."
"Yes we know all about you, but what I mean to say is what happened with the enducer?" He began explaining to me that a femal member of the crew had suddenlly gone into what is known as shock labor, he said it happened as soon as I appeared and my time machine activated. He kept mentioning that two members were in labor, and having experienced something of childbirth at the hands of my sister I offered my services as nursemaiad. "Well since your a stowaway I suppose it would make sense, we need to put you to work some how cant have you sitting like a lady in waiting while the Feds close in on use." He led me down several corridors of hallways that I confess all did look alike, and therefore will forego torturing you with the details of the walk. He explained that his ship was a medical frigate enroute from a mission to a planet in a far flung galaxy to the planet Rhonda where they would give the discovery over to medical scientists. I asked him what the device was they found and he simply told me that I would see.
Once we got onto the medical deck the typical sounds of a womans labor began to ring in my ears, the sounds of crying as well as those of soothing. I was led into the small room that served as ships hospital and saw her in a typical form. Doctor Caaroline Hasbero walked over and stopped me beforef I entered, she asked my clearance and Captain Harrison gave her the infromation she needed. "Now time for the infromation you need, they are in the final stages of pregnancy."
"They, you mean there are two women?" I asked, and then saw past her into a room where a woman lay like my sister had, with her legs held apart and laying on her back, but there was indeed another voice crying in agony, a male voice.
"Yes they, you see we went to the plane Halliard 3 looking for an ancient artifact to test on prisoners, when we got there we found this weird fungus, the landing crew consisted of a pregnant woman, and her husband, when they returned home both were experiencing symptoms that can only be described as labor pains." The Good Doctor showed me a computer readout which showed both husband and wife, and the fungas that had infected both their reproductive organs. It infected them, and then made them in sync.
"As best we can tell the fungas was origonally designed to be like a stimulat during sex, the couples rub the fungus on eachothers private parts and they both get a hundred times more pleasure but the fungus became airborn and when our landing party arrived it effected them. They are now both experiencing the same exact physical reactions, he is going through labor pains while she is actually having the baby." I was then led into the center where he was restrained on a bed with straps and his legs in sturrups, the same position that the wife was in, only she was thrashing about as doctors and nurses operated on her, attempting to pull the baby from her. I walked over to help console the poor man who was screaming and yelping in horrible agonizing ways that no man of my time had ever felt. I held his hand and he squeezed my own, he was trying to focus on his beloved wife but failing miserably as the pains hit hime wave after wave. There was a medical robot that was trying to give him pain medication but not having much success. I watched as his eyes filled with horror and his tears filled his face while doctors reached into his wife and removed her baby. He was thrashing in agoony and pain and finally his torment ended when the child was removed. Yet there and then did his tears let up and give way to tears of pure joy when he heard his daughter crying right beside him. I felt the hadn of Doctor Hasbero on my shoulder, "I think you should leave now, we discovered what happened, the energy flux from your time machine hit these two, and the wave caused the woman to go into premature labor. Once youve gone back to wherever it is you came from then we will be ok."
So dear reader, there you have it, I took my time machine, went back to the year 2012, got myself a brand new computer, and using my time machine as a power pack, I am now using it to write to you all.
