As Jessica dozed all curled up beside of him Hoyt wondered about his mother Maxine,would she really go and hurt a child of his just because their mother was a Vampire and not Human?
Could Maxine Fortenberry be that much of a bigot?
Hoyt remembered what he'd found out about how she had lied to him and kept a secret for 28 years.
That his father didn't get killed in a botched robbery but that he'd killed himself cause he was a failure and that she'd lied to get the insurance money. Hoyt was only ten at the time of his father's passing and he beleived what his mom told him.

On Saturday night Jessica headed into work a shift at Merlotte's she promised Hoyt she'd take it easy and that she'd talk to Sam about cutting her hours and how she could't lift really heavy trays.
"Hey Sam I've got something to tell you I went to see Dr.Ludwig I'm definately expecting Hoyt's babies-She saw two on the utlrasound but said that could change at any time?"
"You tooo both you and Arlene? OH NO!"
"Sam are you telling me Arlene's also expecting?"
"You know both of us can't work the same shift we have to wait different shifts"?
"And you can't tell her I'm expecting ever she hates vampires!."
"I'll let her have the days and you can work nights"
"Thanks Sam. Also I'm not aloud to lift heavy trays".
"I'm getting in some serving carts you've carried you're last tray as soon as they come in".

Jessica stayed around to help LaFayette ing the kitchen a bit. Sunday was the SuperBowl and he had alot of cooking to do she helped him make trays of sandwiches,precut veggies for dips and put in chicken wings to soak in hot sauce.
Two hours before Dawn Jessica put in a load of chicken wings to soak overnight to soak in Frank's Red Hot sauce for the Extra hot Chicken wings.And also made up a huge vat of hot blue cheese dip.
Then she went home and climbed into her hidey hole.
A hidey hole which was going to need to be expanded as she got bigger as the months went by and her babies grew in her belly.
Jessica wasn't even four months along her belly already measured 28" around.
Who knows what her belly would measure by the time she was ready to deliver?
She'd seen women who were expecting triplets and they were huge.
She wondered how big she was going to get?
She forgot to ask Sam if she could take Sunday night off and not work.
Let Arlene have the extra money,she didn't need it yet.
She'd call Sam tonight after she got home.

When Jessica got home she kicked off her shoes,took a shake that was in the fridge waiting for her and flopped down onto the couch and relaxed.She was also very sleepy so she curled up and drifted off to sleep.
Jessica had a dream-in it she saw herself with a huge heavily gravid belly she looked beautiful.
She was at a baby shower Sookie and Tara threw it for her Maxine came reculantly but she behaved herslf
Arlene was also there- and to Jessica's shock Arlene was as big as a house! She was also expecting!
Who knew? So who was Arlene's babies father?
Could it be Terry Bellefleur??
"Jessica it's time to go to your rest" Bill said.
"Arlene Fowler's expecting~and it maybe Terry Bellefleur's child?"
"Jessica how do you know this? That Arlene's expecting?"
"I just had a dream about a baby showere and she showed up and looking like a float on the Macy*s Thanksgiving Day Parade!
"She had a huge belly and she had a wedding ring on"

"Well Sam just confirmed your dream"
"Arlene's expecting!"
"You're kidding? Bill asked.
"Nope, he asked me to keep it on the QT."
"Seems that Arlene and Terry haven't told anyone that she is expecting"
"Sookie you said you thought she might have been preggers around when Rene tried to kill you?"
"I'd gotten a vibe off of her she was hoping she'd get her period. I made the mistake of hugging her and breaking the connection".
"Have you gotten anything else off of her about her expecting a child?
"Nothing lately except her thinking about weird cravings when she was taking orders"
"Jessica can you tell us anything more about the dream?"
"Like what do you want to know?" Jessica said while she sat there rubbing her tummy.
"Are they acting up?" Bill asked as he smiled.
"Something's going on inside of me that's for sure"
Hoyt was quiet wondering how Jessica could know that Arlene Fowler was expecting till he asked.
"Are my sons going to be like Sookie"?

"That's something we won't know till their about six,but they will always be able to feel things about when people are around".
"Now Hoyt I know that you'd love to be at Merlotte's on Sunday night but I'd really rather you stay here and watch Jessica as Sookie has to work the game"
"Can you do so can you stay with her so I'll be free to watch her since Sam opened the bar to Vampire's?"
"I'll stay with her here in the house I don't want her working that game with shifters/Vampires ".

"Thank you Hoyt. I'm having a new 55"flatscreen installed on Sunday morning for the game. I'll have the fridge stocked with cold beer and 3platers of Human food and enought fixings for Jessica's shakes".

Jessica worked till 11:55PM then she and Hoyt clocked out and headed home to Bill's
ancestral home.
Hoyt drove slowly as Jessica closed her eyes resting her head on his shoulder.
When they pulled up in front of the house Bill met them.
"Is she allright? Did anything happen?" Bill asked Hoyt alarmed at Jessica's appearance.
"She's fine just fell asleep on the drive home. I'm going to carry  her inside the house
and then put her on the couch in the living room"
Hoyt scooped Jessica up in his big strong arms carrying her into the living room where he gently placed her on the velvet burgundy couch and covering her legs.

"Sam understands that she and Arlene can't work together it would be a distaster.
Arlene's so full of hate for Vampires but if she finds out I got Jessica pregnant I'm going to have to move out of the Parish".
"You're right Ms.Fowler is no fan of mine you should have seen the hissy fit she had when I began to date Sookie"She'd only make your life and the babies lives a living hell".

"Is she drinking the shakes you're making her ?"
"Jess is drinking the shakes good thing Sookie thought of a way to get her to drink
more blood by mixing it with icecream and protein powder"
"Do you know how much weight she's supposedly gained?" Bill asked.
"Well we're hoping that she gained close to the fifteen pounds Dr.Ludwig wants?
She looks like she's gained about 8-10 pounds but will know more tomorrow night"

"You're going to Monroe with Sookie and Jessica?"
"Yes, I've offered to drive them there and I want to be with Jess when Dr.Ludwig does the Ultrasound"
"Does Dr. Ludwig think she can tell Jessica how many babies she's going to have?"
"Well Jessica told me after the last visit that Dr.Ludwig had remarked that she wouldn't be too suprised if she was showing next time she saw her"
"How many weeks ago was her first visit? Do you remember? "
"Jessica went to see Dr.Ludwig on December 20th,2010 that was about 10 weeks ago and she was already 2 months along so she should be 4 1/2 months along?"

Hoyt  asked Bill if he'd mind it very much if he were to stay the night in the house.
"I'll even sleep on the couch if you want me to?"
"Hoyt don't be foolish she's already expecting your babies I know she'd be safe you
can sleep in her bedroom"
Jessica stirred "Am I home?"
"Hello sleepy head you feel asleep on the way home"
"I did ? I don't remember doing  so"
"Jess we got into my truck then you curled up next to me and the next thing I knew
you were asleep so I carried you inside placing you on the couch".

"How are you feeling Jessica? Bill asked his daughter sitting next to her.
"I'm allright but I'm rather warm"
Bill placed his hand to Jessica's forhead and felt it "You're not running a blood fever if you were there would be blood sweat beads on your head"
"where do you feel warm" Hoyt asked
"Well the babies are still moving around alot in my belly and there's a pressure building up my belly's getting tight"
"I really think you two ougth to turn in for the night after Jessica has her last shake of the night. You to have a very important appointment tomorrow night and Jess needs
all of the rest she can get"

Hoyt Jessica and Bill retired to the kitchen and Hoyt mixed Jessica her shake while Bill
had a Royalty. This time Hoyt used a bottle of whole trueBlood to make Jessica's shake and not the substitute that most Vampires lived on.
"Here you go you have to drink up the whole thing"
"Yes Doctor Hoyt". Jessica teased.

After she finished the shake she kissed Bill good night and they retired to her bedroom.
Jessica went and changed into a sleep shirt while Hoyt stripped down to his boxers,
then Jessica brushed her teeth and brushed her hair tying it back with a ribbon.
Hoyt brushed his teeth and then he joined her in bed.
"Want to cuddle? Hoyt asked Jessica
"Yes".
"Come over here"

Jessica cuddled into Hoyt's chest and fell asleep dreaming of their children.
Jessica had a dream in it she and Hoyt were playing with their children all of which
had beautiful red hair just like Jessica's
"Momma are we going to see our Grandma today?" one of them asked
"That could be she's supposed to come for your birthday party"
In the  dream Hoyt was playing catch with his sons on the front lawn and she was
expecting again.

Hoyt slept till 8:30AM Jessica was curled up next to him and he kissed her when he
left for work but not before  leaving her a note.
"Jessica~~ I love you darling take care of our  little ones. I'm at work. I'll be home before you arise this evening to drive you to Dr.Ludwig's.See you later on.
All of my love yours Forever, Hoyt"

Hoyt finished work around 5:30PM and then he headed to Bill Compton's house, once
inside he dashed into the shower washing the sweat of the day off of him.
As he came into the bedroom Jessica was stirring "Well good evening darlin' how are
you feeling tonight"
Raising her arms above her head Jessica stretched hard "Oooo I slept good"
It was then at that moment Hoyt noticed Jessica's belly "Jessica stand up! look at
your belly you can really see you're expecting now!"
"What? what do you mean?" You can see your belly"
"Stand up take a look in the mirror!!!"

Jessica jumped out of bed and looked in the mirrror and to her suprise she saw her
belly and it really looked like she was pregnant.
It was still small but it was there a round ball about 12" around right above her pelvis
"I'm really pregnant this makes it "real to me to us".
Jessica ran into Hoyt's arms kissing him hard "Thank You for this".rubbing her tummy.
Hoyt and Jessica got dressed and then went out into the living room.

"Good evening Bill how are you tonight?" Jessica called
When William Thomas Compton turned to see Jessica he was shocked to see that
she now really was expecting a child.
"When did it happen? Are you alright? Do you hurt anywhere?"
"No  father I'm fine" kissing him on his cheek.
"Come sit down I want to talk to you" Bill said just as the doorbell rang.

Hoyt answered it letting Sookie into the house and telling her what happened with
Jessica"
"She's showing! when she arose her tummy had popped you can see she's expecting"
"What? When did it happen?"
"I'd say sometime between last night and right before she arose tonight. Last night
she did complain of a warmth in her belly also she said the babies were restless"

Sookie came into the living room "Jessica I hear your belly popped let me see!"
Jessica stood up slowly and came over to Sookie and turned sideways and there's
no mistaking it "You're showing" "Come over here give me a hug".
Sookie  hugged Jessica feeling like she was her daughter

Soon it was time to start to Monroe all of them got into Hoyt's truck and he made sure Jessica was strapped in and the belt wasn't too tight.
Sookie sat in the front seat.
After an hour and half drive the pulled up infront of Dr.Ludwig's house.
Hoyt helped Jessica down from the truck and then the went inside.
"Jessica Hamby Compton to see Dr. Ludwig for a checkup & Ultrasound"
"Yes Dr.Ludwig's expecting you Ms.Hamby-Compton can you come with me"

Jessica followed the nurse into the exam room where she changed into a gown and
then sat down on the table waiting for Dr. Ludwig.
The nurse got Hoyt and Sookie and took them into the exam room.

"Well young lady how are we doing anything I should know about?"
"YES I'M SHOWING LOOK at my belly!" Jessica cried.
Dr.Ludwig looked up from Jessica's chart "Well so you ARE SHOWING Congratulations!"
"I told you that by the next checkup you'd be showing"
"Now can you lie back and let me check out out and see what's going on in that new
cute tummy of your's"
"You think it's *cute*? really" Jessica asked.
"Well I think it is totally beautiful" Hoyt piped in.
